The European Map Championship 2008 (EMC) was a 2-player single elimination (Knock-Out) tournament played on the Europe Map. It was a successor of the double elimination tournaments in early 2007 and 2008 and was held in allusion to the SPWC 08. The championship started with 59 participating players on November 01, 2008 and ended on December 23, 2008 with a final win of Angel6 over Neven Subotic with 5-3. The EMC 2008 was part of the Overall Point Winner Championships 2008.
