Zeno I was getting tired of putting the same old parameters on all of our tables, so I wondered if templates could do the job for us. I've put up ColoTable as a test to see how it works. You get three parameters(border="1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="1") just by putting {{ColoTable}} into the parameter line. If you like the result, you can create your own list of table parameters. Just remember that the templates are global, so if you change an existing template, you change every table that references that template. I'm tempted to add variations on the ColoTable, perhaps adding 'W', 'S' or 'C', so ColoTableWS would be a ColoTable which also had width="100%" and class="wikitable sortable" (C would stand for a standard background color). We could also have different base tables, for example a ZenoTable and a ChrisTable. BTW, my earlier pages (the first three on the template page), which claim to be templates, are not templates in the wiki sense, and I am tempted to delete them, unless someone thinks they should be kept.
